I am a full-stack software engineer and this is my cover letter.

I don't enjoy blowing my own horn but here we go...

I have 14 years of experience in software development,
but I'm continuously learning!

In the last 5 years, I mainly focused on full-stack development of a native macOS video application —Swift, SwiftUI, AppKit, WebRTC, Zoom Video SDK— backed by a Firebase backend —Firestore, Functions, TypeScript, Node—.

I have worked for start-ups and big companies:

Direct Manipulation UI controls for the health industry
Geographic Information Systems for agriculture
Embedded software for cash registers
Single Page Applications and billing systems for retailers
Billing systems for telecom companies
A real-time video application to make remote work better

I just like to work in cool stuff!

I say "I don't know" frequently but I also say "I will investigate and find a way".

Software development is like that.
Nobody knows everything.

Experts need to Google/LLM a lot, even though some people don't talk about it often.

I am the kind of person who enjoys learning as he goes. Given a specific problem to solve, I try to find the best tool and practices at that specific time.

I believe in slowing down to go faster. I focus on having a bigger impact on the long run without neglecting the short term. I've learned that this trade off is very context-specific though.

As a full-stack developer, I like to solve business challenges with end-to-end solutions. I’m comfortable taking on various roles as needed.

I enjoy designing user experiences, planning architectures, coding, and testing to ensure everything works well.
